about
Arma Del Amor’s self titled Debut EP is the duo’s first extensive offering since their last release “Am.Big.You.Us” in the spring of 2014.
This sonic exploration covers all grounds necessary to convey the journey that the two have undertaken to get to this point in their career. This EP is a snap shot captured not with light, but with a passionate, sensual, bass heavy blend of songs that showcase Arma Del Amor’s growth as a band.
From the opening track and single “The Watcher”, right through to “Light You Up”, the EP takes you on an undulating and encompassing expedition from light to dark, without missing a colour in-between. Earth pulsing bass and thunder clapping drums pull you along within their subliminal force, giving you an illusion to comfort. All the while a blanket of synths and cavernous sounds wrap you up readying you for the soulful, yet subtle sting of the vocal.
A total envelopment of the sense’s, this is a stepping stone to lessen the gap between the listener and the band, as they have left no secrets behind any doors with this one.
lyrics
Water, come down from great heights / Water, won't you reignite / Let this fire burn / Let this fire burn / Love punch from a crystal bowl / Clear azure forming like a crown / Ripped fade on the jeans you wore / Golden sun burning thoughts upon / Foreign lands that we're living on / Cut sharp along a level line / Velvet undertones are taking over / Colours long gone are colouring her in / In her wings / Fall to the rhythm it's in those eyes / Sweet is the taste of the other side / The other side / This is the other side / Water, come down from great heights / Let this fire burn / let this fire burn / Water, won't you reignite Let this fire burn let this fire burn / Softness of the sky is sinking in / Glow of the light on her summer skin / On her wings / Call to the sound of the thunder clouds / Darker than the bass from the underground / From the underground / This is the underground / Water, come down from great heights / Let this fire burn / let this fire burn / Water, won't you reignite / Let this fire burn
